The 2012 season was arguably one of the best years we have ever had here at Non-Typical Outfitters. We had an early spring which promoted great horn growth. Our scouting, once again, was valuable for our success. We continue to have one of the best hunt guiding teams in the industry and they proved it again this year!
In 2012 we took 7 bucks that will gross over 190 inches. Three of them were right at 200 inches or above.
The drought conditions here in Western Wyoming did challenge us toward the end of our season in 2012. Hunt guiding teams had to fight hard for every opportunity, but still were able to pull out some of the best bucks of the year. This is a true testament to the fact that attitude and perseverance make all the difference.
We are very excited about the upcoming 2013 season. Some great bucks made it through last year and so far we are having a mild winter and an early spring. With a little luck this spring, we will be looking for another above average year.
