This 3-Day cow elk hunt offers way more than just an opportunity to acquire the finest cuisine (elk meat) on the planet.  These hunts are an invitation to experience God's country on a whole new level!  We have personally witnessed and received testimonies of lives being changed.  Parts of people that have laid dormant their entire lives, parts aching to be unlocked, came fully alive on these hunts while experiencing wilderness.  These hunts are an invitation to come as you are, and return a different person. 

I personally believe there is something indescribable that happens when you go to the mountains to harvest an animal and bring it home to nourish and strengthen you and/or your family.  This type of hunt is basic and pure by way of connecting us to who we were created to be rather than what we can do.  This hunt is NOT about a score or a trophy, but rather a WILD experience for connection and provision.  I believe it is about becoming the wilderness!

This cow elk hunt is perfect for mothers, fathers, daughters, or sons.  It is great for ALL ages regardless of experience levels.  This hunt is perfect for one’s first elk hunt or fiftieth hunting experience.  It is a great opportunity for team building, leadership training, or just an invitation for a group or a single hunter to come together and bond in wilderness. 

Our cow elk hunt includes  shooting instruction that is similar to our shooting classes offered.  Additionally, meals and accommodations are included in the pricing.  You will stay and hunt out of Non-Typical Outfitters back country tent camps or our lodge.  We can accommodate any group size.  This hunt is spot and stalk, hunting from horseback.  Shots range from 100 yards to 600 yards.  Season dates are from September 26th through January.
