The 2024 Elk season was a huge success! We worked hard for our clients and produced a high success rate on quality bulls. The best bull taken this year was over 320 inches. This year we also purchased a new hunting permit with Elk hunting in mind. NTO’s new hunting camp has a September 26th rifle general elk opener, which means that we can rifle hunt elk during a time of year when the bulls are still bugling and with their cows. The new camp has a base camp and a pack in camp as well as hunting in the Gros Ventre Wilderness area. We had the opportunity to hunt this new area a bit in 2024 and shot at some bulls over 320 inches. There is also tons of cow elk hunting available in the area.
